Kraken export for tax software
Available in the US (with some state limits) and many other countries.
Which file to download
Open your profile menu, then Documents, Exports and Create Export. Choose Ledgers, set the start and end dates, keep all fields and pick CSV. Kraken says an export can take from a few minutes to several days and doesn't email you, so check the Exports page. If the download is a zip, use the ledgers.csv inside it.
Ledgers export
Based on help pages and sample files; check the first rows after you import
The two lines of a trade share a refid, and the converter pairs them on it. Kraken's asset codes (XXBT, ZUSD, DOT.S) are translated to plain tickers.
