Paying with Airtel Money on Binance P2P in Zambia

Airtel Money in Zambia is run by Airtel Mobile Commerce Zambia Limited, which the Bank of Zambia lists among its designated payment system businesses (Bank of Zambia, registered financial institutions).

Most Airtel Money ads are small. On 17 October 2026 most reliable sellers' Airtel Money ads started at K 150, and the ads taking only Airtel Money stopped at K 548 to K 9,069 per order, half of them under about K 2,400. For a larger amount, pick an ad that also takes MTN Mobile Money or bank transfer.

Pay only from an Airtel line registered in your own name, to the number shown in the order, and tap "Transferred, notify seller" only after the money has gone (Binance P2P User Transaction Policy). When you sell, release the USDT only once the money shows in your Airtel Money balance; check it yourself in the Airtel Money app or menu, never on the strength of an SMS, a screenshot or a call from the buyer.

The Bank of Zambia's Circular 05/2026 of 10 March 2026 requires banks and payment service providers to send the Bank data on the crypto and stablecoin payments they process for their customers (Bank of Zambia Circular 05/2026).

If you've paid and nothing is released, appeal from the order rather than cancel; our appeal guide lists what to upload.

The Zambia buying guide covers the whole trade, from picking a seller to appealing an order that goes wrong.

Prices come from public Binance P2P ads and update every 10 minutes. They only count advertisers with at least 30 completed orders and a 95% completion rate in the last 30 days. US dollar rate: Rates By Exchange Rate API, updated daily. P2PTab is run independently and has no tie to Binance beyond its referral programme.
